Senior Infants have been learning about penguins over the past number of weeks. As part of their work, they discovered that penguins have blubber which helps to protect them from the cold. In Science, we tested this theory using Vaseline, some rubber gloves and icy water- We can confirm that the Vaseline/blubber works well!
