On Friday, we celebrated Mr. O' Brien's final day in St. Beacon's N.S.
6th class held a lovely assembly in the school hall. They sang a fantastic rendition of Dreams by The Cranberries, with the help of the school choir and Ms. Collins. Síle and Kate expertly played 'Perfect' on their violins.
In the afternoon, everyone enjoyed extra yard time in the sunshine. The children then waved Mr. O' Brien off for the final time through the 'tunnel of joy'!
We thank Mr. O' Brien for everything he did for the pupils, parents and staff of St. Beacon's N.S. and wish him a happy and healthy retirement.
