Joanne from Ferrybank First Responders visited the school today to facilitate First Responder Training with 5th and 6th class. The children learned the theory behind what they were doing, and then put that into practice. It was a lot more challenging than many anticipated and it gave them a newfound respect for the effort needed to carry out CPR.
