The focus of our aistear theme the last two weeks has been autumn.
In the first station the children in our class are making a Hedgehog Hibernation Hut for Harry the Hedgehog. We had great fun collecting leaves, twigs and other natural materials to make a warm and cosy home for Harry.
In our arts and craft station we built huts from lollipop sticks and make our very own hedgehog from clay.
Our construction area were busy building shelters and home for the farm animals before winter comes.
In our last station we were using our tuff tray to collect pine cones, acorns and leaves for the animals who are starting to hibernate.
